adventures in greece, athens, delphi

After being picked up at the airport by Jimmy, we had dinner with all the family on Alex's side. They prepared lots of traditional greek dishes and many desserts as well. It was a nice treat to have a home cooked meal the first night in Greece.

we drove our huge tour bus through this little town, which actually had a ski shop for the nearby mt. parnassos, or "parnanny" as we call it.

there were numerous feral cats in greece, but the tourists made sure they didn't go hungry. I know we fed a few.

alex in santorini

after a quick stop in naxos, we head to santorini. on the way back, we stayed in naxos for three nights.

our ferry was named the naxos, in the background is the incomplete temple of apollo.

hey honeybunny, sweetie pie, and other phrases from our very talkative waiter. he spoke like seven languages and claimed to have been drinking from 3 until 7 that day.

the santorini campground, we had the place to ourselves. but, we heard the thumping of the clubs in fira until about 5 in the morning. then the traffic noise and roosters started.
