allysia, dina, stacy, craig, sage, and gary, all hiked in for a two night stay in a remote part of the grand staircase-escalante national monument in southern utah. we hiked to the ridge in the top part of the picture, about three and half ( we thought more like 5 ) from sage, one of the local guys from escalante.
we stopped for our first break, and was rained on for about 3 minutes. Everybody put on raingear and continued hiking in the sun that reappeared about 4 minutes after putting on the raingear.
