Escalante and Zion

Escalante, Utah isn't the easiest place to get to, but you take a beautiful drive through the Captiol Reef National Monuments that gets neglected as we push on through to the Grand-Staircase National Monument where our friend Alysia works.

Dirt+ Sand + Water + Hay = cob mix. Repeat all day. We did this for a good 6 hours and we made a bench that has a great view out the window. A lot of work goes into each and every inch of her hand-built strawbale house.

Old granary high on a cliff.

Zion, the Watchman. We set up camp with this view. We didn't move for 5 days. We took the shuttle to various hikes, and made a basecamp.
