christos and dina soaking in the view. christos was our personal guide through two of the monasteries. painted frescoes lined the insides of the main rooms inside, but no photos or video were allowed. you place a lit candle in the sand. not a speck of white remains on the walls as pictures of saints, angels and other images grace the curved high arching walls of the monasteries of meteora, greece.
